In compliance with the government directives and the guidelines given by Archbishop Gomez, we are able to open our church on a limited basis once we have everything in place to reopen safely. This means that we will have to have all the materials and volunteers needed to sanitize the church after every Mass and to have volunteers trained and willing to monitor and coordinate the entry and dismissal of those coming to our church for Mass and personal visits.
We have some sanitizing materials on hand and more on order and are now asking for volunteers to help make it possible to open our church. If we get a good response, we hope to be able to open our church for Sunday Masses on the weekend of June 13 & 14. With a good response of volunteers we would also be able to open the church for weekday Masses and personal visits beginning the week of June 8th.
Volunteers must be 18 or older. Volunteers over 65 should be in good health with no underlying health conditions. If you are willing to volunteer either to help with the sanitizing of the church after our Masses or with the hospitality ministry of welcoming and ushering, please call our parish office at (626) 964-3629, Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Please give us your name, phone number, e-mail address and the ministry you are volunteering for. We would be very grateful for your service.
Due to the fact that we are limited to 100 people for each Mass, we are considering some type of pre-registration so that everyone will know which Masses are full and which might have some room. This pre-registration would not start before June 8th. More detailed information on this will be given at our live-streamed Masses and on this website.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation in these trying times and we look forward to taking these beginning steps in gathering as God’s faithful people. May the Lord bless you all.
