This First Friday we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. We have also been invited by Archbishop Gomez to join with him in renewing the consecration of our country, our parish and ourselves to our Blessed Mother. We will have First Friday Masses in English at 8:30 a.m., in Chinese at 10 a.m. and in Spanish at 12 noon. At the conclusion of each of these Masses we will have a prayer of consecration to Mary. After the 8:30 a.m. Mass we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Archbishop Gomez, as president of the U.S. Council of Bishops, will celebrate a special Consecration Mass at 12 noon. All these liturgies can be reached through this website.
On First Friday evening the Young Adults of the parish will lead a Holy Hour from 8-9 p.m. This Holy Hour will include the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the prayer of Consecration to the Blessed Mother and Benediction.
You are invited to join with us in any of these prayerful services. We pray God’s blessing on you and your loved ones. Please pray for us and for our world.
