Next Sunday, May 10 ^th, we celebrate Mother’s Day.  We will have our traditional Mother’s Day novena of Masses starting that day and continuing for nine days.  Those who would like to have their mothers, living or deceased, remembered in a special way during those Masses are invited to give their names to us so that we can place theses names next to the altar.  For this purpose Mother’s Day envelopes are available outside our parish office.  You can write the names of mothers to be remembered on one of those envelopes and put the envelope in the mail slot next to the office door.  Or you can just write their names on a slip of paper or one of your own envelopes and put that in the mail slot.   In any case, we will be remembering our mothers as we celebrate this novena of Masses, thanking God for them and for the life and faith they have passed on to us.
